Matilda Sutton is a Newcastle-upon-Tyne based painter and sculptor who graduatred from Newcastle University in 2019. Sutton's work explores two key subjects; the woman and the animal, brought together using expressive characters. 

As a result of this, Sutton creates a world in which these subjects are synonymous to one another.
